Pine Stretcher Bars

Stretcher bars provide stable support for needlepoint and other hand-stitched work by maintaining even tension across the canvas. Made from soft pine with smooth, eased edges, they assemble precisely without snagging. Mini stretcher bars feature a ½" profile for smaller or lightweight projects, while regular stretcher bars use a ¾" profile for added rigidity on larger pieces. Bars are sold in pairs; two pairs interlock to create a complete frame for needlepoint, cross stitch, embroidery, crewel, and similar applications. Select stretcher bars based on the full canvas size (not the stitched area), rounding down to the nearest inch; if between sizes, choose the shorter length for secure tacking.
