Our thread quantities are estimates based on the amount an average stitcher is likely to use. Every stitcher has a unique stitching style, tension, and preferences, so your individual thread needs may vary.

Some stitchers prefer to purchase a little extra thread to ensure all skeins are from the same dye lot, while others prefer to purchase only what they expect to use to avoid leftover thread. Both approaches are completely valid!
